Background

The windows server cannot access an external ip + port, but both ping and tracert are normal

After repeated investigation, the possible causes such as security policy filtering and packet loss are excluded.

Investigation & solution

1. Check the server itself and find that the memory occupancy rate is very high.

2. There are many netstat connections

3. The server does not provide service for the time being. Restart the server and solve the problem.

4. Follow-up observation of server memory usage, memory expansion or check for application code problems
