Compared to previous versions, Exchange 2016 is reduced to two roles: the Mailbox server role and the Edge Transport server role.

The Exchange version of the original environment for mixed deployment is required, and Exchange 2010 requires sp3,Exchange 2016 to require CU10 or above.

This time, Exchange 2016 CU5 is installed using Windows 2012R2 system. There are two error prompts in the installation, just do the following:

1. The operating system patch update prompt appears when installing .NET Framework 4.6.2, and the update patch is resolved.

2. Since the original environment 13 is CU9, there will be an error message for the version in the installation check, and Exchange2013 will be upgraded to CU15 solution (if you install cumulative updates above 15, you also need to install .NET Framework 4.6.2)

The prerequisites and version 2013 are basically as follows:

Prerequisites for installing 2012R2

Install .NET Framework 4.6.2 and prompt for the appropriate patch (skip the update patch step if there is no error prompt)

An error occurred while installing the corresponding patch. Windows update is used in this operation to update the patch.

After the patch update, continue to install .NET Framework 4.6.2

After the installation program is decompressed, it is made into iso, which reduces the occupation of the hard disk in the environment.
