Step 4. Install the current branch of SCCM (version 1802)

Note: do the following on the ConfigMgr server (CM01) as an administrator.

To do this, on the Configuration Manager server (CM16), open Windows File Explorer and browse to the network path of the ConfigMgr server with the replicated SCCM source, for example:

C:\ Source\ SCCM1802\

In the folder, double-click splash.hta. The installer appears and click install.

Click next on the before you start screen.

In the available installation options screen, select the use typical installation options for stand-alone main site check box

Do you want to continue clicking Yes when prompted?

Enter your key on the product key screen (or select the evaluation option), and then set the software assurance date (optional)

On the Product license terms screen, select the 3 available options, and then click next.

On the prerequisites download screen, select the first option and specify C:\ Source\ SCCM_Prerequisites as the folder to download the prerequisites. Click next to start the download.

On the site and installation Settings screen, enter the selected site code (for example: P01), the site name, and the path where you want to install ConfigMgr.

On the Diagnostic and usage data screen, click next.

To configure database information, click next

On the Service connection Point Settings screen, enter your selection and click next.

On the Settings Summary, review your selections and click next when you are satisfied.

On the prerequisites check screen, click start installation when ready.

During the installation process, click View Log (Open C:\ ConfigmgrSetup.log) to view the installation progress using CMTrace

When the installation is complete, click close.

Once the installation is complete, you can start the console.
