A few days ago, YouTuber created the Pixel 5 renderer, showing the back of one of Google's flagship mobile phone prototypes in 2020, if we can even call it a flagship product. This picture is obviously based on leaked CAD files, focusing on the camera system behind the phone. Compared with other devices, the design of this camera is different. At the time, we heard that there would still be a larger top frame on the front of Pixel 5, as Google did on Pixel 4. Now we finally have a rendering that shows the complete design of the claimed pixel 5 prototype. Spoiler reminder: ugliness seems to be a feature of Pixel phones.

If you think the camera design is ugly, you'd better get over it. Now that mobile phones don't have a good camera design, we should stop caring. The ugliness of the camera is a compromise that we can expect from smartphone manufacturers, whether it's Apple, Samsung or Google. These phones take better photos than ever before and can record 4K or higher resolution videos. Camera design. No, things.

But compared to other phones in 2020, the appearance of this prototype is really disgusting. Most smartphone makers will have beautiful full-screen phones. Take a look at the Galaxy S20 or the rumored one plus eight design. Compared with this Pixel 5 prototype, even the iPhone's gap is incredible. The lower border of Pixel 5 is smaller than the top border, but it is still significantly larger than the side border, so it doesn't help.

While prosser insists it's just one of three prototypes Google is currently developing, he mentions the design of the rear camera. I wouldn't be surprised if all prototypes have similar screen designs. And thanks to the Motion Sense chip, because it has to be on top of the phone, because the radar involves the 3D face unlocking process. In other words, without it, the experience would be just as fast and just as safe. However, at least according to Android 11, the Soli chip will be retained, which means it may take a while to see the full-screen Pixel design that we can enjoy.
