What is hybrid?

Hybrid is a port mode of Huawei and H3C switch. this interface can also allow multiple VLAN frames to pass through and specify which VLAN data frames are stripped from the label, mainly to achieve high isolation of wavelength division and multiplexing. When receiving data, Hybrid port and Trunk port deal with the same way of thinking, the only difference is that when sending data, Hybrid port has the function of untagging multiple VLAN tags, and Hybrid port can allow multiple VLAN messages to be sent without tagging, thus increasing the flexibility of the network and increasing security to a certain extent, while Trunk ports only allow default VLAN messages to be sent without tagging. Hybrid port and Trunk port can be switched directly. The Hybrid function can be used instead of the corresponding function that the Ethernet port of the Quidway small Business switch is set to the Trunk type. VLAN based on MAC addresses, protocols, and IP subnets is only valid for Hybrid port configurations.

five。 Forwarding proc

1. Pc1 ping Pc2 forwarding process

The two PC belong to different network segments, so they need to be routed through the gateway. If pc1 wants to go to the gateway, first check the untag table through sw1,sw1. There are 10, untagged, 10 tagged and released. When you go to the 10-segment gateway, check the untag table by r1Mui-> R2-- > sw2,sw2. There are 10, untagged, tagged 20 to release, to sw1, and then to pc2 through access.

2. Pc3 ping Pc4 forwarding process

The two PC belong to the same network segment and do not need to go through the routing gateway. This forwarding belongs to layer 2 forwarding. The pc3 needs to check the untag table through sw2,sw2. If there are 10, untagged and labeled 20, it will be released to pc4.

3. Pc2 ping Pc4 forwarding process

The two PC belong to different network segments, so they need to be routed through the gateway. If pc2 wants to go to the corresponding gateway, it needs to check the untag table through sw1,sw1. There are 20, untagged, 10 tags released, go to sw2,sw2 to check untang tables, there are 10, untagged, 20 tagged release. When you go to the 20 segment gateway, the untag table is checked by R2UV-> R1-> sw1,sw1. There are 20, untagged, 10 tagged release, access to sw2,sw2 to check untag, there are 10. Take off the tag, label 20 to release, and go to PC5.
