Encountered a phenomenon in windows 10, when "add a network location", the pop-up "the input folder does not seem to be valid. Please choose another", here I need to connect to the smb specified directory on Linux. After other machine tests, the smb server is normal and the input parameters are normal. No anomalies were found in the smb server logs.

After many attempts, it is found that the wrong user and password should be used when accessing the network location. As a result of logging in to the Microsoft account, Microsoft users are used to access it by default, so it cannot be accessed.

Solution:

1. Add "map network drive" instead

2. Check "Connect with other credentials" to enter a user name and password for access.

3. Once the connection is successful, when you add "add a Network location" again, you can access it normally.
