1. Surf the Internet on the web page

It is very simple to set up an agent for web surfing. Under firefox browser, Edit-- > > Preferences-- > > Advanced-- > > Network

Click Settings under Connection, and set IP and PORT in the manual proxy configuration.

2. Yum proxy settings

Edit the file as: / etc/yum.conf

Add this line to it:

Proxy=IP:PORT

The IP here is the IP you want to set, and PORT is the port you want to set.

3. Wget proxy settings

Edit the file as: / etc/wgetrc

Add the following two lines:

Http_proxy = IP:PORT ftp_proxy = IP:PORT

4. System environment proxy settings

Edit the file as / etc/profile. If you only want to set up your own account, edit ~ / .bashrc.

Add three lines:

# add proxy for networkexport http_proxy= http://child-prc.intel.com:913export https_proxy= http://child-prc.intel.com:913export ftp_proxy=$http_proxy

Then source / etc/profile or source ~ / .bashrc will do.
