SVN server, basic use

For SVN service Windows installation, please refer to: SVN Code version Management Control system service installation. After installation, start VisualSVN Server Manager, as shown in the following figure:

To create a version library, right-click Repositores- in the left window, > Select Create New Repository or New-> Repository- > Click next-> fill in the repository name, and do the following as shown below:

Click "Finish" to complete the basic creation.

Establish users and groups and assign permissions:

(1)。 Right-click the user group on the left side of the VisualSVN Server Manager window, select Create User or New-> User- > enter Username and password, and click the ok button to complete the user establishment, as shown below:

(2)。 Create a user group, right-click the user group on the left side of the VisualSVN Server Manager window, select Create Group or New-> Group, and enter the group name to add the user, as shown below:

(3)。 Set permissions to the user group, right-click on MyRepository, select Properties, in the pop-up dialog box, select the Security tab, click add = "Groups =" Developers, select Developers, then add it, set the permission to Read/Write, and click the apply and OK button, as shown below:
