Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--
The following problems occurred after installing a centos8 service under vmware and then copying
Both the source centos before the copy and the centos service after the copy have no IP and need to be reset.
After repeated tests, this situation needs to be solved by adding an eth0 configuration under centos8 / etc/sysconfig/network-scripts.
The order of solution is as follows
1 etc/sysconfig/network-scripts CD / etc/sysconfig/network-scripts to the corresponding directory, execute the su command first, and change yourself to su root under the permission of root
2 after cp ens33 eth0 is executed successfully, the original ens33 configuration file copy in this directory will be named eth0.
3. Execute the ip addr command to get the mac address of the corresponding network card first. The execution result is as follows
Copy the ether data 00:0c:29:52:22:d1 corresponding to ens33 here, which will be used later when editing the eth0 file
4 the eth0 file focuses on modifying and adding several items that are selected repeatedly, and note out the parameters such as ONBOOT,NAME,DEVICE in the original configuration file. (here, another virtual machine is used to take screenshots, so the mac displayed is different. Do not vi editing, as long as enter the file and hit the insert key to edit the state, ESC key to exit the editing state,: wq save and exit: Q exit, these commands will be fine)
5. Execute a network restart after saving and exiting. Here is centos8, and the related command is nmcil c reload. After execution, you can normally see that the ip has come out by executing ipconfig again.
However, my local modification has not shown that the IP has been created, so I executed the reboot again. After rebooting the virtual machine, I can already see that the IP is allocated.
This is the end of this article on how to deal with the problem of IP loss caused by replicating centos8 virtual machines under VMWARE.
