When you choose a CVM, it is tantamount to relying on part of the IT management functions to the cloud service provider. At this time, there will be two problems: one is how to allocate the idle personnel in the IT department who are "squeezed out" by the cloud service provider, and the other is whether the cloud service provider has reached the management level of the enterprise in terms of the speed and way of solving the problem. At present, the after-sales service system of cloud service is not as powerful as that of mainstream hardware manufacturers, and the RAS of hardware is mainly x86 level, so its security and reliability is not high.

4. IO bottleneck of CVM

Due to the virtualization technology, the disk IO performance of domestic CVM is poor, which can not meet the requirements of large enterprise workloads. Take Aliyun as an example, ordinary storage random read and write speed in 4MB/s, continuous read and write in 100MB/s. If you build your own CVM, the disk performance will be much better than the CVM. Therefore, when the type of service that the enterprise needs is high I / O, then the cloud host will cause performance bottleneck.
