We all know that the machine name of the client is recorded in v$session, but without IP, how can we get IP information to be recorded in v$session?

1. First of all, using the DBMS_SESSION process package, first execute: BEGIN DBMS_SESSION.set_identifier (SYS_CONTEXT ('USERENV',' IP_ADDRESS')); END;/2. Execute trigger create or replace trigger on_logon_trigger after logon ondatabasebegin dbms_application_info.set_client_info (sys_context ('userenv','ip_address')); end;/ Note: execute procedure package and trigger requires dba permission 3. Then log in to pl/sql using the administrator user to view the IP information of the connected oracle and execute the query sql:select username, program, machine, client_info, sys_context ('userenv',' ip_address') as ipadd from v$session s where username is not null order by username, program, machine
