A few days ago, the .NET control set ComponentOne Enterprise released the final version of 2018, the biggest highlight of which is the addition of animated diagrams, mini diagrams and more modern theme styles on various platforms. The latest version of ComponentOne will bring you a better experience.

For each platform, the main updates to ComponentOne are as follows:

WinForm: add mini diagrams, data selectors, and more theme designs

WPF: launch a functional area similar to Office 365style

XAML: optimize data sorting, filtering and grouping functions to increase chart animation

ASP.NET MVC: provides configuration wizard options to configure controls in a more convenient way

Powerful data filter / selector control (beta version)

DataFilter is a powerful user interface, which provides the function of simple operation but can realize the common data filter in e-commerce, and can be used with any data filtering control. You can create filters directly from the data source, supporting automatic generation and manual creation. In addition, its accordion panel-based UI design can be attached to a shared data source or any control that inserts an information screen. (* DataFilter is in test mode and will be officially launched in 2019. )

Mini control: a Sparkline control that integrates perfectly with FlexGrid

This lightweight mini-chart control represents a general shape that condenses data changes in vision. It is usually embedded in the data grid. As a result, FlexGrid can now display mini diagrams in columns and make it easier to draw trend charts in FlexGrid cells. The sparkline property of the FlexGrid column supports drawing lines, columns, and WinLoss mini-graphs.

You can further customize these mini images by setting axes, tags, series colors, and so on.

WPF platform: functional area similar to Office 365style

ComponentOne will now use more modern ribbon styles to improve the look and feel of WPF applications and the navigation bar! Like Office 365, this new control will display the toolbar UI in a more straightforward manner and provide a single-line collapse state and three-line ribbon appearance settings.

You can customize the style of the ribbon and the various buttons you want to include.

ComponentOne adds a new C1Icon that provides a whole new way to define sort, filter, and group fields as well as FlexGrid samples, making it easier for us to start using our most popular controls. Through the examples provided by FlexGrid, you will see demonstrations of such as selecting data, cell customization, conditional formatting, filtering, RowDetails functionality, cell merging, and many other interesting features.

Schedule control

ComponentOne's new TableView Scheduler control is used to display agendas in a table view and can be grouped, sorted, or filtered as specified by the developer or end user. It provides a list and active view of topics similar to Outlook 2016.

AgendaView displays agendas grouped by date in a table view, where a single table row represents a single agenda. Users can edit it by double-clicking an agenda and opening the EditAppointment dialog box. This view is always sorted by default in ascending order of date and has no row or column headings.

In addition, we have added a new "Working Elsewhere" to indicate the reservation availability status (as shown in the following figure).
