Sql Server Replication Monitor provides a feature that can synchronize Publication for verify Replication and data synchronization status for Subscription.

1. Click Repulication in the Left pane of Replication Monitor, pop up the shortcut menu "Validate Subscriptions..." and start Validate one subscription.

2. In the Right pane of Replication Monitor, select a Subscription and click View Details

3. Check the Action Messages of Distributor to Subscriber History tab

If "Table 'xxx' passed rowcount (number) and checksum validation" is displayed, the result of Validate is success,Publication and the data of subscription is synchronized.

If "Table 'xxx' might be out of synchronization. Rowcounts (actual:number1, expected number2). Checksum values (actual:number3,expected number4)" is displayed, the result of Validate is failure,Publication and the data of subscription is out of sync.

Here is the query that is being executed against each table in the database if you choose to compare actual count and the checksum:

SELECT count_big (*), sum (convert (numeric, binary_checksum (*) FROM WITH (TABLOCK HOLDLOCK))
