1.IMPDP import mode

When executing the impdp command, you need to specify the directory parameter and the dumpfile parameter (see expdp export notes for details). Put the files exported by EXPDP into the directory directory and import them.

two。 Import an example

(1) Import the previously created scott user table

$impdp scott/tiger directory=dump_file_dir dumpfile=scott_tables.dmp nologfile=y

(2) Import scott user's table to test user

$impdp test/test directory=dump_file_dir dumpfile=scott_tables.dmp remap_schema=scott:test

(3) Import scott_tbs tablespace into test_tbs tablespace

$impdp test/test directory=dump_file_dir dumpfile=scott_tables.dmp remap_schema=scott_tbs:test_tbs

3. Important parameters

DIRECTORY: specify parameter

DUMPFILE: specify the output file name

LOGFILE: specify output log

PARALLEL: parallel import

CONTENT: CONTENT=ALL imports object definitions and data (default)

CONTENT=DATA_ONLY imports data only

DONTENT=METADATA_ONLY imports only definition objects
