Process:

1. Log in to the hp server management interface

The default user name of the ilo port of the hp server is administrator. The password needs to be modified after logging in for the first time. Login through java web is supported. 2. Check the mac address of the service port of the device.

You can see the mac address of the network card in the system information-network, but because there is no data flow, the switch mac address table does not have this information.

3. Consider shutting down this interface

By consulting the hp server after-sale (after-sale merger with Huasan), it is learned that ilo cannot close a certain network port, but can close all gates through bios. It may be necessary to restart the server to close the card where the network port is located.

4. Find the network port through esxi

Use F2 to enter the esxi management interface, because there is no root password, tragic. When you see that some colleagues have operated and modified the settings of esxi, you can see part of the data flow and find the mac address of part of the network port on the switch. This method filters

5. Restart the server

There are four options in power management, some of which have been learned.

Option 1,

Similar to a home computer, click the power button to shut down the operating system and then turn off the power

Option 2,

Forced shutdown, similar to holding down the power button for a few seconds to force the computer to shut down

Option 3,

Restart the server, similar to start-restart the computer, soft restart

Option 4,

Restart the server, similar to shutting down first, and then delay for a few seconds before restarting the server

As the ilo port can be managed when the server is powered on and the operating system is off, option 1 can boot the server with full knowledge; after restarting the server, check the log of the corresponding switch, find the corresponding interface, modify the configuration, and solve the problem.
