A. Exchange 2010 migrates across forests to Exchange 2010

B. upgrade from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2016

4) demand

Kill the CAS+HUB of 1 Exchange 2010 in the source domain and use its IP for the target domain Exchange 2010 server.

Kill the mail server Exchange 2016 in the target domain and prepare to install Exchange 2010 in the target domain first.

5) problem

Delete the source domain Exchange 2010 normally, but it cannot be deleted.

Delete the target domain Exchange 2016 normally, but cannot delete it.

Solution:

1) Open ADSI

2) Select a known naming context, select "configuration", and click "OK"

3) navigate to the following path and delete these two items:

CN=Microsoft Exchange

CN=Microsoft Exchange Autodiscover

4) use the ADSI tool to connect to the default naming context

Navigate to the following path and delete the two OU

OU=Microsoft Exchange Security Groups

OU=Microsoft Exchange System Objects

Let's go back to the Active Directory user and computer and delete the following Exchange mailbox user

In addition to the above mailboxes, there are:

After deletion

1) undo the source domain Exchange 2010 and delete it
