Platform as a Service (platform as a service, PaaS) is a cloud computing service that provides computing platforms and solution stacks as a service. In the typical level of cloud computing, the platform as a service layer is between software as a service and infrastructure as a service.

Platform as a service provides users with the ability to deploy and create cloud infrastructure to the client, or to gain access to programming languages, libraries, and services. Users do not need to manage and control the cloud infrastructure, including the network, server, operating system, or storage, but need to control the upper application deployment and application hosting environment.

PaaS takes the platform of software development as a service and delivers it to users in the mode of software as a service (SaaS). Therefore, PaaS is also an application of SaaS mode. However, the emergence of PaaS can accelerate the development of SaaS, especially the development of SaaS applications.

Platform as a Service (PaaS) is a new software application model or architecture emerging after Software as a Service (Software as a Service, referred to as SaaS). It is the further development of application service provider (the Application Service Provider, referred to as ASP).

The MS SQL PaaS service is tested in this experiment, and the database has been successfully installed on another server.
