The fourth data is the lead time, which determines when each material will start and when it will be completed. It should be said that these four data are all crucial and indispensable. In the absence of any or incomplete data in any of these items, the formulation of the material requirements plan will be inaccurate. Therefore, before making a material requirements plan, all four data must be fully established and guaranteed to be absolutely reliable and enforceable. 1. The formulation of the material requirement plan follows the calculation idea that the demand quantity and demand time of the relevant materials are derived from the master production plan, and then the production or order time is determined according to the lead time of the materials. The basic calculation steps are as follows: 1. Calculate the gross demand of the material. That is, the gross demand of the first-level material items is obtained according to the main production plan and the bill of materials, and then the gross demand of the next-level material items is calculated through the first-level material items, and the calculation is carried out successively until the lowest-level raw material blanks or purchasing parts. two。 Calculation of net demand. That is, according to the gross demand, available inventory and allocated quantity, the net demand of each material is calculated, that is, the net demand = gross demand + allocated quantity-available inventory-on-the-way quantity. 3. Batch calculation. In other words, it is up to the relevant planners to make batch policy decisions on material production, no matter which batch rules are adopted or not, the calculation of the net demand should indicate whether there are batch requirements or not. 4. Calculation of safety inventory, scrap rate and loss rate, etc. That is, it is up to the relevant planners to plan whether to make these three calculations for the net demand of each material. 5. Place a planned order. That is, after passing the above calculation, the planned order is generated according to the lead time. The planned orders generated by the material requirements plan can not be officially issued until they are confirmed by the balance of capacity and resources. 6. Do the math again. There are roughly two ways to generate the material requirements plan again. The first method will recalculate the inventory information and cover the original calculated data, resulting in a brand-new material requirements plan; the second way is to update the records of the relevant parts of the material requirements plan only when the conditions for formulating and generating the material requirements plan change. Both of these two generation methods have practical application cases, and which one to choose depends on the actual conditions and conditions of the enterprise.
