If you missed the opportunity to buy a discount laptop or two-in-one laptop on Black Friday, now you have another opportunity. Amazon continues to slash the prices of Microsoft's Surface Pro 7 and Surface laptop 3, which are at or above record lows.

Surface Pro 7

You can buy the basic Surface Pro 7 from Amazon for $799, which is equipped with 8GB RAM, 128GB memory and Intel Core i5 processor. The price is less than $899. Some third-party suppliers are offering basic models at lower prices. You can take advantage of the lower price, or you can choose Amazon, so you can rest assured.

Amazon also discounted 256GB models. From 8GB memory or 16GB memory, you can get $999 and $1199, respectively. When using the 8GB model, you can get an additional discount of $19 if you choose platinum instead of matte black.

Amazon also retains an inventory of the more powerful Core i7 models, which currently enjoy a $200 discount. The current storage space is $1299 for 16GB version of 256GB and $1699 for 512GB version.

Please note that you need to buy Surface Type Cover separately (fortunately, Amazon also offers a discount on this). You can use Surface Pro 7 without a keyboard, but remember, it's a better laptop than a tablet.

All in all, when we evaluated it, we liked Surface Pro 7 and got 82 points. Cherlynn Low, editor of Engadget comments, said Microsoft eventually added USB-C ports, but found that Surface Pro 7's battery life was worse than its predecessor, Surface Pro 6.

Surface laptop 3.

If you only want a laptop instead of a two-in-one laptop, you can also choose a 13-inch Surface Laptop, although inventory is limited to high-end Core i7 models with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage space. However, Amazon offers all four colors-matte black, platinum, cobalt blue and sandstone. The current price of the model is $1799, less than $1999.

We haven't had a chance to review the new 13-inch model yet, but when we looked back on it in 2018, we really liked the SurfaceLaptop2. Our main complaint about this model last year was that it didn't have its own USB-C port, which Microsoft fixed in Surface Laptop 3.
