Use operating system authentication (RHEL6/7) $cd $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin$ vi sqlnet.ora # to add a line SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (ALL) $more sqlnet.ora SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (ALL)
