··After using packstack allinone to complete openstack(version q), complete the relevant configuration of the external physical network according to the official recommendation. After the configuration is completed, you can test the issuance of virtual machines.

The project cloud and member vdc_admin have been created and the mirror criros uploaded

The basic network environment is as follows:

I. External network configuration

Log in to dashbord as admin, and create a network in admin-network-network-network, as follows:

Description:

1. You need to click Share and External Network options

The physical network name is extnet.

3. The network type is flat

4. The project is cloud

Then create a public_subnet

Description:

1. The network address segment is the address segment of the external physical network.

2. Gateway is an external physical network gateway

Then click Next, Subnet Details

Description:

1. Activate DHCP

2. The address range is the address range available in the real physical network, mainly not to conflict with other real network addresses.

Then click Create

After the creation, you can see the subnet information of external_network in dashbord interface. The low-value segment of subnet will be used as the public network address and router snat address of virtual machine instance.

Then start creating the project cloud and user vdc_admin, log in as vdc_admin (remember the role__member__)

Then start creating the route as follows. The external network must be selected.

then project-network-network create network private_net

Then the next step is to create the subnet private_subnet, with segment 192.168.1.0/24

Then create dhcp address ranges

Click Finish Create

Then click on router, click on interface, add an internal interface

You can see that the external network is configured correctly and the external interface type is External Gateway

II. Creating Examples

Log in to dashbord as vdc_admin, enter Compute-Instance, and start creating virtual machine instances

Description:

1. Because it is an allinone deployment, the default available domain is nova.

Mirrors need to be created in ciiros, cow2 format for test purposes Lightweight Mirrors

Then select Source as Mirror

Description:

1. The volume size is 20G, and it is best to be consistent with the instance type (called specification in public cloud).

Then select the instance type, the test selection is m1.small, the instance type can be defined by yourself

Then select the network, note that the selection is private_net

Then everything else is optional, you can skip it and start creating instances

Click "test" to see that the virtual machine instance has been successfully created and you can log in.

Default account cirros, password cubswin:)

As you can see, the IP address 192.168.1.15 has been assigned.
