Matthew Miller announces the release of Fedora 31 Beta. It is not only punctual, but also brings many exciting updates. Fedora 31 Beta comes with the new GNOME 3.34 desktop and many improvements / features, which are particularly exciting for better performance and Wayland session enhancements. Fedora 31 has also introduced a new version of IoT, and Fedora CoreOS has been brought into the F31 domain, as well as various other software package updates, multiple package updates, and multiple architecture construction.

For this beta, the i686 (x86) installation media has been removed. Fedora 31 removed their i686 kernel support and 32-bit all / module repositories, effectively terminating support for running Fedora on i686 hardware, while 32-bit software will continue to run on Fedora x86664 installations. This beta also introduces a new Internet of things (IoT) build.

The latest version of the GNOME desktop environment is full of performance enhancements and improvements. The beta version comes with a pre-release version, and the full 3.34 version will be provided as an update.

The Fedora IoT Edition:Fedora version addresses the important use cases of the Fedora committee in increasing the user base and community. We have Workstation,Server and CoreOS-now we are adding Fedora IoT. This will be the main thing to get the Fedora site when the final version of F31 is ready, but for now, get it from iot.fedoraproject.org.
