Preface

Train of thought:

DBCA reports an error. First, look at DBCA's log, which also reports ORA-12547: TNS:lost contact.

So if you hit enter by sqlplus / as sysdba, you will also report ORA-12547: TNS:lost contact.

Based on previous engineering experience, first look for the trc file under bdump, but there is no trc generated under bdump.

Then look for the trc file under / u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/rdbms/log, and sure enough, you find it:

Solution method

Finally, it is the problem with the / etc/security/limits.conf file:

Oracle soft nproc 2047 oracle hard nproc 16384 oracle soft nofile 1024 oracle hard nofile 65536 oracle soft stack 1024 oracle hard nofile-> it should be 10240 here, according to: Requirements for Installing Oracle 11gR2 RDBMS on RHEL6 or OL6 64-bit (x86-64) (document ID 1441282.1)

After the modification, close the dbca interface, exit exits oracle users, su-oracle users, and then re-launch dbca.
