ROG today released Rapture GT-AX6000, a high-performance WiFi 6 (802.11ax) game router with a new design. The futuristic ROG Rapture GT-AX6000 game router allows gamers to connect more devices and take the game experience to a new level. Powered by the 2.0 GHz 64-bit quad-core CPU and the flagship next-generation Broadcom WiFi 6 chipset, it provides wireless speeds of up to 6000 Mbps through the Asustek RangeBoost Plus to enhance coverage, so it is always ready for the biggest battle. The ROG Rapture GT-AX6000 is a powerful 4x4 dual-band WiFi 6 router that provides combined speeds of up to 6000 Mbps-1148 Mbps in the 2.4GHz band and 4804 Mbps-- in the 5 GHz band are up to 2.3x faster than the 4x4 dual-band WiFi 5 router. With a combination of 160MHz channel, OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies, WiFi 6 provides up to 4x network capacity and efficiency in traffic-intensive environments, making it an ideal choice for densely populated networks.

Flexible network port configuration

For flexible high-speed Internet and network connections, ROG Rapture GT-AX6000 has two 2.5 Gbps ports, one of which can be configured as a WAN or LAN port.

WAN aggregation allows 2.5 Gbps ports to be combined with 1 Gbps ports to release up to 3.5 Gbps of WAN bandwidth, even the latest ultra-fast ISP is fast enough. This huge amount of Internet bandwidth can be shared through a second 2.5 Gbps port in WiFi 6 or LAN mode.

With LAN aggregation, users can bind two 1 Gbps LAN ports together to create a 2 Gbps LAN connection, which is ideal for providing additional bandwidth for heavy network equipment such as NAS or desktop PC.
