Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--

As a seven-year Mac user, the most common thing in daily use is the lack of disk space. Although the icloud cloud is good, it is limited by Apple's server access speed and application expansion, so that I only use to store some temporary files for office use. At present, there are no good cloud services that can support Mac. If you want to store larger files and better application extensions, you still have to go to NAS.

Because of the first contact with NAS, worried that it will not be configured and will not be maintained, I chose the "Tieweima" brand, which is easier to use. Also because of beginners, start with the quad-core lightweight F2-210. The network storage with the initial capacity of TB makes me feel the superiority of "it's good to have money" when I am used to using 256GB hard drives, and I also have a new understanding of private cloud storage.

The front and rear feet of the Tieweima NAS and the hard drive arrive and install them according to the instructions on the Tieweima F2-210web page. I feel that in terms of hardware installation, even if I contact NAS for the first time, I can get started quickly. The gold finger is facing the opening, and the installation of the screw is done, and the hole position is asymmetrical, so there will be no reverse.

Choose a Seagate hard drive with 8TB capacity. Because I am an individual user, the mobile hard drive I usually bring is only the capacity of 2TB, in theory, one piece is enough. But this NAS has two cards, so with the mentality of one step in place, it goes directly to two hard drives, forming the space of the 16TB.

Of course, if most people want to achieve it in one step, 16TB is not enough, they can also choose more stuck machines and more hard drives, based on the effect that there are not too many good things, the more disk space can bring people more happiness. Then why don't I get more cards? Because of poverty, I was indifferent.

The purpose of my network storage is to consider the problem of data security. My mobile hard drive once broke down and all the data was lost. The usual work is complicated, such as designing, cutting, dealing with high-pixel pictures, etc., when that mobile hard disk copies large-capacity data (such as dozens of GB of any file in final cut), it will be disconnected frequently, and it takes many attempts to succeed.

Therefore, with the expansion of the business scope, we finally have to consider NAS as the storage side, on the one hand, to save time, and on the other hand, to ensure the security and stability of the data.

The table is full of monitors, brackets, computers, keyboards, mice, files, mobile phones and other necessary items, only a little bit on the left side of the table can be placed. The reason for choosing the Tiwei F2-210 is also because it is relatively small, with only 227 x 119 x 133mm, just on the cramped left.

Disassembly is also quite simple, from the bottom of the hole to break up on the line, look at the picture to know its principle.

There are two disk card indicator lights on the front of Tieweima F2-210, as well as network lights and power indicators. During operation, the hard disk lights will flash intermittently, while the network port and power lights will remain on.

The switch button is used for cold start, but shutdown is recommended to operate shutdown in the TOS console, and physical key shutdown is not recommended, because the physical key is equivalent to forced shutdown.

A large area behind the machine is a cooling fan, with two USB HOST ports at the top of the right and a network port and a power port below. The design of the whole machine is relatively simple and easy to understand, so its instruction manual gives a web address.

Follow the web page instructions to initialize the settings step by step, the setup experience is still quite smooth, and the guide instructions are good in the process.

May be my first use of the problem, the operation into the console, encountered a little trouble. At that time, it was fruitless to find a solution, and finally asked the customer service to solve it, so I wanted to take this opportunity to talk about the experience of encountered problems.

At that time, after entering the TOS console, the machine began to tick and whistle all the time. Look at the NAS system and find that one of the disks has an error, but it can't be deleted or edited repeatedly. Trying to find Tos for help with uncomfortable screams, there is no solution to this kind of problem, and there is no solution to online search (only some bad ideas to keep the machine away).

Later, I found customer service, which made me feel quite professional, and I soon found that there was something wrong with the disk. Then it is suggested that I unplug all the hard drives after shutting down-boot-initialize-prompt to insert the hard drive-follow the normal process after insertion-enter the network storage to delete the original disk (delete twice)-format-create a new disk-view the error disk-take out the problem disk-solve.

You should give some advice to users who encounter problems. The bad disk has been contacted after sale, forget it, let's go on.

Every time I log in, there will be disk occupancy detection in the lower right corner, including network speed, storage space surplus, resource occupancy and so on. These visual interfaces can give me a very intuitive understanding of the current disk usage.

This is all the software that can be supported in the TOS console, one of which is the Beta version with a Beta corner label, and the rest are listed and mature products.

From the list, they are all frequently used software, which can basically cover front-end and back-end development needs. In addition, combined with file sharing, they can meet the storage needs for individuals and small entrepreneurial teams.

Mac's Time Machine is quite easy to use, but due to the lack of storage space, it is troublesome to plug in an external hard disk every time. With network storage, everything becomes simple.

In the TOS console of Tieweima, one of the built-in backup management "time retracers" specifically solves the backup problem for Mac users. Authorize the user name "username" on the left to the right, and select apply.

Turn on the automatic backup of the time machine in the Mac system preferences (the old system is called Time Machine), select disk TNAS-XXXXXX.local, log in to the server (the account password is the account password of TOS), and you can start backing up. After that, every backup will be carried out automatically, as long as the network storage machine is not turned off.

Do not worry about the redundancy of historical data, the data from a month ago will be automatically erased, if you are worried, you can clean it up regularly for ten days and a half months.

Access permissions-settings used to manage users and user groups, as well as the contents of shared folders

Network services-for more demanding network operation and maintenance personnel to use, if there is no special needs, there is no need to do anything

Storage management-resource management and setup of machine plugged disk and external HOST devices

General Settings-General Settings Management of the TOS console

System status-monitors the log and status of the entire NAS system

There are a lot of basic functions of the control panel, and everyone's needs are different. It's hard to elaborate. Let's take what we need.

I am an individual + small team use, the actual use of upload and download speed is still considerable, at least much better than the storage in the network disk.

The same file, downloaded from the network disk is 1MB/s or so, and the download with it is close to 12MB/s. Upload can also reach 10MB/s. There is no specific limit speed to be measured, all in all, it can achieve the effect of spending money to buy high efficiency, I think this is not a loss.

I really want to see some comparative tests if you want to see the suggestions of speed test and temperature test. Buy Tieweima F2-210 is nothing more than a worry, very good-looking desktop practical ornaments, I do not want to throw into the computer room or put in the corner, it would be nice to turn on the air conditioner with me. By the way, I use it in an air-conditioned room, so there is basically no heat in the machine.

Downloading TNSAS mobile on the phone can also browse and set all functions like the PC side, and you can also upload photos and videos from the phone to NAS, which is a good choice for 64G mobile phone users. However, it is impossible to use the application software on the console on the mobile phone, which has little impact.

Stability is the first condition of NAS, Tieweima F2-210looks very high-tech, easy to operate, and there are professional customer service answers to problems, so the whole process is quite comfortable and easy to experience.

It is a good choice to store or back up data as an individual or a small team. On the basis of the increasing volume of business and the need to generate more and more data, we have such a data storage center to record documents, code, source files, and so on, and to slim down our computers and mobile phones by the way. it is indeed a safer and more convenient choice.
