Previously, I created the MySql PaaS database in Azure, but now I want to stop the Azure MySQL PaaS database because the test system is offline. But after looking for a long time on the Azure portal, I didn't find any stop options like virtual machines, only deletion. After understanding, we know that once the MySQL Database is created, it can not be stopped. You can export the database locally through mysqldump, and then delete the server or database on the PaaS that you want to stop. When needed, import it to PaaS.

The usage of Mysqldump is as follows:

Execute the following command to back up the database of the source server locally

# mysqldump-- databases-- single-transaction-- order-by-primary-r-- routines-h-P-u-p

Mysqldump-databases mydb-single-transaction-order-by-primary-r f:backup.sql-routines-hsrcserver.mysqldb.chinacloudapi.cn-P3306-usrcserver%usr-p
