Problem: after windows7/server2008r2 updated the August patch, the system failed to boot, the system went directly into recovery mode, the attempt to recover failed, and the system still failed to boot. The problem mainly occurs in the unlicensed system, and the boot mode is UEFI.

Solution:

1. Prepare the file to find a windows10 system, find C:\ Windows\ Boot\ EFI\ bootmgfw.efi under the windows10 system and back it up to the U disk change directory. 2. The system boot disk boot failure host starts the fault host with the system boot disk and enters the installation interface. Press shift+F10 to start cmd tool 3, mount list disk to boot partition through disk management tool diskpart # View current hard disk information sel disk 0 # Select disk 0 list part # View current disk partition sel part 1 # Select the first partition, ESP partition assign letter=t # specify the current partition disk symbol as T

Copy the bootmgfw.efi in the U disk to the following paths T:\ efi\ boot\ bootx64.efi** Note: use the bootmgfw.efi in the U disk to replace\ EFI\ BOOT\ under bootx64.efi** T:\ efi\ microsoft\ boot\ bootmgfw.efi # overwrite the original file system installation partition\ Windows\ Boot\ EFI\ bootmgfw.efi # overwrite the original file 5, Return to normal after rebooting the system
