Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--
This article introduces the display of Chinese characters in .net Micro Framework (part two). The content is very detailed. Interested friends can refer to it. I hope it will be helpful to you.
After recompiling, you can see the Chinese font in the simulator, as shown below:
5. Expand the Chinese character file
In the previous experiment, although the Chinese characters were displayed correctly, some people may ask why the FN in the fntdef file is "Song style", not Chinese line letters. In fact, when you try to change FN from Arial to another name, the current version of TFConvert will print an error message on the command line: "Font cannot be found matching Selectfont descriptor Facename .expected', found'?". Let's take a look at how to solve this problem and achieve the goal of displaying all Chinese fonts normally.
First of all, we need to use the fontcreator tool to modify the Chinese font "font name" this tool can be downloaded online, here is a brief introduction to how to use this tool to modify
a. Use the fontcreator tool to open the selected Chinese font, such as "Microsoft Yahei"
b. Select "Format" from the menu, and select "Naming" as shown below:
Select "Microsoft unicode BMP only" in "Platform" and "Chinese-PRC" in "Language"
Note the "Include font family name", "Include unique font identifier" and "Include full font name" options. Since the fontcreator tool is not in Chinese, all of these options display characters rather than specific Chinese font names.
c. In the above interface, select "English-united states" in "Language" as shown below:
Also note the "Include font family name", "Include unique font identifier" and "Include full font name" options, all of which contain the word "Microsoft YaHei"
d. Start modification: copy the word "Microsoft YaHei" in step C to the appropriate options in step B, as shown below:
Press "ok" after modification, and save the font.
e. Also modify the contents of .fntdef:
◆ AddFontToProcess C: "SampleFonts" MSYH.ttf
◆ SelectFont "WE:400,FN:Microsoft YaHei"
◆ # import upper case letters
◆ ImportRange 32 126
◆ ImportRange 19968 40869
This way, when you rerun the Tfconvert tool for conversion, the following error message will not appear:
Note: the above modified options can be replaced with MsYaHei, or other English names that can represent Microsoft Yahei font, at the same time, you can try to replace the content of these options with "Arial", so that you will not get an error when converting with Tfconvert. Personally, I think that in the Chinese font conversion of .net Micro Framework, only the conversion from Chinese "Song style" to face name (FN) is supported, and other Chinese fonts with display names such as Microsoft Yahei, Chinese fine black and young circle have to be changed to English names before they can be converted normally.
The following picture shows the font of Chinese line letters after the above processing:
