Integer type is the most basic type in database.

Floating point numbers include single precision floating point numbers (float) and double precision floating point numbers (double).

Date and time types are used to facilitate date and time storage in the database: DATE type represents date, TIME type represents time, datetime and timetamp represent date and time

String types are the data types that store strings in the database: char and varchar types; blob types; text types; enum types; set types
