How to install and upgrade and uninstall URLOS, many novices are not very clear about this, in order to help you solve this problem, the following editor will explain in detail for you, people with this need can come to learn, I hope you can gain something.

Environmental demand

Verify that the operating system version meets the installation requirements before installing URLOS

Minimum hardware configuration: 1 core CPU,1G memory (1 core 1) Tip: if you have more applications and the hardware configuration of the host node is low, it is recommended to activate virtual memory when deploying the node.

2G or more memory is recommended for production environment

Recommended installation of 64-bit pure operating systems: Ubuntu-16.04, Ubuntu-18.04, CentOS7.X, Debian9X

Installation

1. Log in to the operating system: log in to the system using the ssh client tool, and if the login user is not root, execute the sudo-s command to switch to the root user

two。 Download the installation script and execute the installation command:

Cluster mode (multiple host group clusters, supporting advanced features such as auto scaling, automatic failover and load balancing):

Curl-LO www.urlos.com/iu & & sh iu

Stand-alone mode:

Curl-LO www.urlos.com/siu & & sh siu

Note: when the curl tool is not available on the system, execute "apt-get install-y curl | | yum-y install curl" to install the curl tool before executing the installation script

If Docker is already installed on your system, you can also run it directly using the docker run command (you can omit the next 3, 4, 5 steps in this way):

Docker run-itd-- name urlos-- restart always-p 9968 name urlos 9968-p 9966 name urlos 9966 / data/urlos:/data/urlos urlos/urlos

3. Select the number of the area where the server is located: select 1 for the server in China, 2 or 3 if 1 cannot be installed, 4 if the server is overseas (if the download process is slow, please change the other number), and then press enter

4. Select the directory where the Docker data is stored: / data/docker, select 1, select 2, select 2, and press enter

5. Install successfully and restart the server: the server may be restarted automatically after installation. The restart process usually takes about 1 minute.

6. Access and use URLOS: please open port 9966 9967 in the firewall or security group (inbound rules), and then open https://IP:9966 or http://IP:9968 through the browser. The default user name and password are urlos.

Upgrade

Please back up the relevant data before upgrading. If your CVM has the feature of disk snapshot, it is recommended that you give priority to disk snapshot before ULROS upgrade.

Method 1: upgrade online:

If the URLOS version number is greater than 0.4.10, log in to URLOS and find "upgrade URLOS" in the system tools to perform an online upgrade. If the online upgrade fails, please use the "method 2" below to upgrade!

Method 2: upgrade on the command line:

1. Log in to the operating system: log in to the system using the ssh client tool, and if the login user is not root, execute the sudo-s command to switch to the root user

two。 Download the upgrade script and execute the upgrade command:

Curl-SO https://www.urlos.com/update & & chmod 544 update & &. / update

Note: if you cannot stop the MySQL program when upgrading, use a forced upgrade:

Curl-SO https://www.urlos.com/update & & chmod 544 update & &. / update latest force

3. Select the area where the server is located.

4. Select the directory where the Docker data is stored: it must be set to the old docker storage directory (if you forget, please check cat / etc/docker/daemon.json! )

5. Access and use URLOS: after installation, use your browser to access https:// your server IP:9966 or http:// your server IP:9968 to access UrlOS

Note: due to the change in the algorithm for storing passwords, when upgrading from 0.3.x to 0.4.x, log in to URLOS to modify all database services after upgrade: you need to re-fill in the password and force deployment once!

Unloading

If you need to uninstall URLOS, execute the following command through the SSH tool:

Curl-LO www.urlos.com/uninstall & & sh uninstall

Tip:

URLOS supports both HTTPS and HTTP protocols for access, but we highly recommend that you use the HTTPS protocol because the HTTP protocol is very insecure and can easily be caught and lead to password disclosure!

The paid version needs to be bound with authorization to decrypt before it can be used normally. For more information, please see how to bind the authorization code.
