The previous blog introduced the use of sequences and triggers to achieve self-increasing primary keys, mainly to avoid errors caused by the same primary key.

Here's another way to prevent the same key.

unique primary key

use

SYS_GUID() generates a unique 32-bit code. to generate a unique primary key.

For example:

create table test

(

id raw(16) default sys_guid() primary key,

filler varchar2(100)

)

This generates a unique primary key id and inserts data without inserting an id column.
