Port 25 (SMTP): Port 25 is open to the SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, simple Mail transfer Protocol) service and is used to send mail.

The vast majority of mail servers today use this protocol. When you send mail to someone, a dynamic port on your machine (greater than 1024) will establish a connection with port 25 of the mail server, and the message you send will be sent to the mail server through this connection and saved.

The five roles are: client access server role (CAS), hub transport role (HT), mailbox database role (MBX), edge transport server role (EDGE), unified communications server role (UM).

Port 465 (SMTPS): Port 465 is open for SMTPS (SMTP-over-SSL) protocol service, which is a variant of SMTP protocol based on SSL security protocol. It inherits the high security and reliability of asymmetric encryption of SSL security protocol and can prevent mail leakage. Like the SMTP protocol, SMTPS is also used to send mail, but it is more secure, prevents email from being intercepted and leaked, and enables the sender's anti-repudiation feature. Prevent the sender from deleting the sent message after sending it, refusing to admit that such a message has been sent.

Port 587 belongs to the STARTTLS protocol and belongs to the TLS communication protocol, but it protects the original text after the execution of the STARTTLS command.
