1) switch maximum performance to maximum availability

Alter database set standby database to maximize availability

2) switch from maximum available to maximum protection

Alter database set standby database to maximize protection

3) maximum protection is downgraded to maximum available

Alter database set standby database to maximize availability

4) maximum available transfer maximum performance

Alter database set standby database to maximize performance

5) switch maximum performance to maximum protection

In the mount state

Alter database set standby database to maximize protection

Alter database open
