I have not been engaged in the software testing industry for a long time. The first one is the bank's UAT test. What I have come into contact with is only some business knowledge, and the technical level is out of reach. Of course, for those who have just joined the testing industry, this is a good opportunity to adapt. You can take this opportunity to practice to understand what software testing is really about. Software testing seems to do one thing over and over again, but it's not.

Software testing requires rigorous thinking and strong logic ability. As a junior software test engineer, he should exercise his test case design ability. Test case designer is the core of software testing. All these require the accumulation of experience.

For example, the commonly used black box test case design methods: equivalence class, boundary value, causality diagram, decision table, business process analysis, error inference and so on. Perhaps, you will say, you know all these methods. At first, I was so self-righteous that I really didn't know how to design my own use cases.

Take the cause-and-effect diagram for example. It is not difficult to find out the cause and result. But it is skillful to draw causality diagrams. For example, add an intermediate node. As we all know, causality diagrams need to be designed in combination with decision tables. That's the problem. We usually have n conditions, create 2 to the n power of use cases, and then merge and filter. So I want to ask. If there are 10 reasons and conditions, is it difficult for you to design 2 to the 10th power? Obviously, this is not feasible. What a huge amount of data that is. At this time, the middle node of the causality diagram takes effect. We can split several tables according to the intermediate nodes, such as 3-3-4, the largest is 2 to the fourth power. Then merge so that you can get twice the result with half the effort.

Ok, go too far, financial industry software, involving money, of course, the accuracy of the data is crucial. Therefore, in order for the financial industry to gain a foothold, it is not enough to have mature business capabilities, and it is necessary to fully understand the dynamic flow of data. For example, the generated report, which in the end after what kind of processing, is how to mine data, how to design the algorithm. For the database, how much do you know, simple additions, deletions, changes and searches, tell you, weak. SQL turns out to be a programming language, and it has powerful functions, so learn it yourself.

My second job is a data warehouse development project, mainly ST testing, BVT testing. After coming here, let me fully understand the whole development process of the banking system, including the business process. Data warehouse mainly includes data source, data warehouse and data presentation. It turns out that the report we usually see is the result of so many processes. First of all, the establishment of data sources (that is, we all know the addition, deletion, modification and query, the establishment of tables), second, ETL (data extraction, transformation, loading), third, data mining, design reports, and finally, report pages.
