This post enters the fifth part of the Skype for business 2015 comprehensive deployment series: installing a Skype for business Server 2015 server (2). Following the completion of the previous establishment and release of the topology, this article enters the second part of the demonstration installation taking the lync.itwish.cn server as an example, detailing the installation or update of the Skype for Business Server system (including installing the local configuration storage, installing the front-end server, configuring the certificate and starting the service) and verifying the topology in Skype for Business Server 2015. I hope to correct the imperfections of this article in the comments section. Thank you very much.
Install or update the Skype for Business Server system
After you publish the topology, this section guides you through installing the Skype for Business Server system and setting up server roles for the front-end pool and all server roles side by side with the front-end servers. Please run the Skype for Business Server deployment Wizard on your computer. Use the deployment wizard to complete all four deployment steps, including installing the local configuration store, installing the front-end server, configuring the certificate, and starting the service.
Caution: after installing Skype for Business Server on the front-end server, you must ensure that the Windows Firewall service is running on the server the first time you start the service. Security note: before performing these steps, be sure to log in to the server using a domain user account that is a local administrator and a member of the RTCUniversalServerAdmins group group.
Start the Skype for Business Server 2015 deployment Wizard, and on the deployment Wizard page, click install or Update Skype for Business Server System.
Step 1: install the local configuration store
A. check the prerequisite information for step 1, which can be accessed by clicking the drop-down menu under the heading of step 1. Click run in step 1 to launch the install Local configuration Store wizard.
Select retrieve directly from the central management store (requires read access to the central management store), and then click next.
C. After installing the local configuration store, you can click "View Log" to view the log. Click finish to close the install Local configuration Storage wizard, and then return to the Skype for business 2015-deployment Wizard step.
Step 2: install or remove Skype For Business Server components
A. check the prerequisite information for step 2, which can be accessed by clicking the drop-down menu under the heading of step 2. Click run in step 2 to launch the set up Skype for business server components wizard, and click next.
B. After installing the Skype for business server component, you can click "View Log" to view the log. Click finish to close the set Skype for business server components wizard, and then return to the Skype for business 2015-deployment Wizard step.
C. Verify that the first two steps have been completed on schedule. Make sure the green check box and the word "done" are displayed as shown in the figure.
Step 3: request, install, or assign a certificate
A, check the prerequisites, and then click run next to step 3: request, install, or assign certificates.
B. on the Certificate Wizard page, select default Certificate, and click request.
C. On the "Certificate request" page, select CA, fill in the "friendly name", organization, organizational unit and other related data, including selecting the SIP domain, and select the advanced option.
On the delayed or immediate request page, you can accept the default send request to online Certificate Authority option by clicking next. If you select this option, an internal CA with automatic online registration must be available.
On the "Select Certificate Authority (CA)" page, select the "Select a CA from the list detected in your environment" option, and then select a known (registered with Active Directory Domain Services) CA from the list.
On the Certificate Authority account page, you will be prompted to provide credentials to request certificates and process certificate requests in CA. Default, and then click next.
G. On the specify alternate Certificate template page, to use the default Web server template, click next.
On the name and Security Settings page, specify a friendly name. By using a friendly name, you can quickly identify the certificate and purpose. Select Mark the private key of the certificate as exportable, and then click next.
On the configure other consumer alternative names page, add any other user alternative names that you need, including those that may be needed by other SIP domains in the future, by default, and then click finish. Return to the Certificate request page and stand-alone next.
On the Certificate request Summary page, check the information in the summary. If the information is correct, click next. If you need to correct or modify the settings, click back to return to the appropriate page to correct or modify.
On the executing Command page, click next.
On the online Certificate request status page. By default, the assign this certificate to Skype for business Server certificate usage check box is selected, and then click finish.
M, display the Certificate allocation page. Click next.
On the Certificate Store page, select the requested certificate. If you want to view the certificate, click View Certificate details, and then click next to continue.
On the executing Command page, check the output of the command. If you want to check the allocation process or see if there are errors or warnings, click View Log. When the check is complete, click finish.
On the Certificate Wizard page, verify that all services display a green check box indicating that certificates have been assigned, and then click close.
On the Certificate Wizard page, select "OAuthTokenIssuer" and click "request".
R. On the "Certificate request" page, select CA, fill in the "friendly name", organization, organizational unit and other related data, including selecting the SIP domain, and select the advanced option.
S, on the configure other consumer alternative names page, add the consumer alternative name required for the SIP domain, and then click finish.
T, other steps refer to j-p, we will not repeat them one by one.
On the Certificate Wizard page, verify that all services display a green check box indicating that all certificates have been assigned, including the OAuthTokenIssuer shown in the figure, and then click close.
V. the first three steps of verification have been completed on schedule. Make sure the green check box and the word "done" are displayed as shown in the figure.
Step 4: start the service
A. check the prerequisites for step 4: start the service.
B. You use Start-CsPool Start-CsWindowsService to start related services.
C. on the executing Command page, after starting all services successfully, click finish.
Run Windows Update again to see if there are any updates after installing the Skype for Business Server component.
Click exit to close the deployment wizard.
Verify the topology in Skype for Business Server 2015
The final step is to test the front-end pool and confirm that Skype for Business clients can communicate with each other.
Use Active Directory computers and users to add the Active Directory user object for the administrator role of the Skype for Business Server deployment where Skype for Business Server Control Panel is installed to the CSAdministrator group.
Log in to a computer with Skype for Business Server Control Panel installed using an administrative account
Launch the Skype for Business Server control panel and provide credentials, if prompted. The Skype for Business Server dashboard displays deployment information.
In the left navigation bar, click the topology and verify that the service status displays computers with green arrows, and that there is a green check mark next to each deployed and back online Skype for Business Server role that represents the replication status.

"on the New Skype for Business Server user page, click add."
To define search parameters for the objects you want to find, select search on the select page from Active Directory, and then select Click add filter. You can also select LDAP search and enter an LDAP expression to filter or restrict the objects that will be returned. When you have determined the search option, click find.
"in the search results pane, select the user you want to add, and click OK."
On the new Skype for Business Server user page, the selected user is displayed in the user. "in the assign user to Pool list, select the server that should host the user."
You can use the options in the following list to configure objects.
To test the basic functionality, select the option for generating the user's SIP URI settings (other options in the configuration will use the default settings), and then click enable, as shown in the figure.
A summary page appears, where the enabled column displays a check mark indicating that the user has now completed the setup. The SIP address column displays the address required for the user to log in to the configuration.
Causes one user to log on to the computer joined to the domain, and another user to log on to another computer in the domain.
Install the Skype for Business client on both client computers, and then verify that both users can log in to Skype for Business Server and send instant messages to each other.
At this point, the installation of the Skype for business Server system is complete.
