The solution of always on Juniper Netscreen alarm Lamp

Fault description:

The alarm light is red (always on) and will not be turned off after restart.

Cause analysis:

As long as a log above alarm level is generated in 1.Netscrenn, the light will be on and will not be turned off automatically.

If the version of 2.Netscrenn OS is lower, there will be a red light when it is restarted.

Troubleshooting:

1. Run the following command on the command line interface to clear them:

Clear alarm traffic [enter]

Clear alarm event [enter]

Then you can turn off the alarm lights with the following command:

Clear led alarm [enter]

Note:

1. The status of the alarm light can only be cleared in the command line interface, which is not currently supported by web management.

two。 If you are using ScreenOS 4.0.1r1 or above, you do not need to clear the alarm event log before clearing the alarm light status, you just need to clear the alarm light status.
