1. Download the installation package of MySQL database: mysql-5.7.17.msi. After the download is complete, double-click to open the msi file and enter the following interface:

Note 1: install all products needed for MySQL databases; Note 2: servers that only use MySQL databases; Note 3: clients that only use MySQL databases; Note 4: install all products that contain MySQL databases; Note 5: manually select products that need to be installed for MySQL databases. Here, we just need to select the Server only shown in label 2, and then click Next to enter the following interface:

As shown in the figure above, this is the installation prompt interface. Click Execute directly:

Note 1: indicates the current status; Note 2: indicates the current upgrade progress; Note 3: shows or hides the upgrade information.

As shown in the figure above, this interface shows the current status, progress, and upgrade information. When the upgrade progress reaches 100%, it is shown in the following figure:

As shown in the figure above, this is a sign of a successful upgrade of the MySQL database. Click Next:

As shown in the figure above, to remind us that we have entered the stage of product configuration, just click Next:

Label 1: configure server type; label 2: select TCP/IP protocol; label 3: select port number 3306.

As shown in the figure above, select the default configuration and click Next:

As shown in the figure above, this interface is used to set accounts and roles. Here, we only need to set the password of the root account (you must remember that you need to verify when logging in to the MySQL database). The password is at least four characters. When you are done, click Next:

Note 1: since we are using the mysql-5.7.17 version, the default server name is MySQL57; tag 2: select Standard System Account by default.

As shown in the figure above, select the default configuration and click Next:

As shown in the figure above, this is to configure Plugins and Extension, that is, to configure plug-ins and extended applications. Don't worry about it, just click Next:

As shown in the figure above, this interface allows us to confirm the server configuration that needs to be applied. After confirming that it is correct, click Execute:

As shown in the figure above, the server configuration is in progress. At this time, if the computer pops up a prompt box showing "danger" and other messages, don't worry about it. This is just an automatic alarm when the security software encounters a change in the configuration. Just click "agree".

As shown in the figure above, when the server configuration is complete, click Finish:

As shown in the figure above, to further show that the configuration is complete, click Next:

Open the command line interface (cmd), enter mysql-uroot-p, enter your own password, you can enter the mysql interface is successfully installed!
