In the recent learning process, I found that many students filled in the Chinese user name when initializing the windows10 system for the first time, and then the system will set up the user's folder with this Chinese user name by default. There is basically no problem with the use of the Chinese user name folder, but during the installation and configuration of a few software (such as GNS 3), the save path does not support the inclusion of Chinese, resulting in an error and the software cannot be used.

The solution is as follows:

Click the windows icon on the far left side of the taskbar or press the keyboard "windows" key, then enter cmd, and the matching "command prompt" appears, and right-click on the command prompt to select "run as administrator". The operation is as follows

3. In the command prompt window, enter "net user administrator / active:yes" and "net user administrator 123456" to enable the account and change the password (this password is for testing only)

Then log out of the user (shortcut key windows + L) login interface with an extra Administrator user, select and enter the password 123456 to log in

After logging in, click File Explorer on the taskbar. And go to the "C:\ Users" user folder

Select the folder "Ma Aiqiang" and press F2 (or right mouse button-"rename) to rename the file. Change the Chinese name" Ma Aiqiang "to the English name" MaAiQiang ".

Windows key + R opens and runs, type "regedit", click the "OK" button, and open the Windows registry manager

Expand the following directory HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows NT\ CurrentVersion\ Profilelist. The folder under Profilelist corresponds to the user in the system, and the ProfileImagePath value in the folder points to the address of each user folder. Find the user name account that needs to be changed (including Chinese).

Modify the value of ProfileImagePath to replace the original value "Ma Aiqiang" with "MaAiQiang" (here it needs to be the same as the user folder name of disk C. )

Log out again, and after the login user folder name has been changed, you can use the user MaAiQiang to log in to the local account. Finally, run the command prompt as an administrator again and type: net user administrator / active:no to close the administrator account.
