Shulou(Shulou.com)05/31 Report--
E-readers are a niche technology that runs counter to the concept that all industries are Jack and no one can grasp them, which are related to most gadgets such as tablets and mobile phones. These are deliberately restricted devices that revolve around a central purpose: reading.
Today's best e-readers are very close to matching (or even beating) the experience of printed books. They offer clear and clean text screens, batteries that can last for weeks, and unparalleled advantages over printed books, such as integrated backlighting, waterproof and an almost unlimited library in pockets.
With the latest wave of e-readers driving the technology more strongly than ever before, there is no better time. Although we are still trying to replicate the perfect taste of the new book.
On July 26th, 2019, 8:30 et, updated the latest guide to Kindle models in 2019.
Amazon has long dominated the e-reader game Kindle Paperwhite, which combines the high-resolution display and built-in lights of Amazon's top readers with the lightweight and portable design of the company's basic Kindle. Even before the latest update, Amazon said the Paperwhite was the best-selling model for good reason-it was a near-perfect combination of e-reader features and price points.
Paper white-- 2018-the first major update in years-has given things a further boost, adding waterproofing, support for listening to Audible audiobooks via Bluetooth, and improved design with embedded displays. The screen is a 6-inch 300ppi E Ink panel, and even the small font is very clear. The integrated lighting allows you to read in the dark, and the hardware is still small and thin and can slide into the back pocket of your jeans.
Old PAPERWhITE did better.
Paperwhite has all the features Amazon has improved on Kindles over the years-a simple and manageable user interface, excellent fonts and formatting for books, and much more that can be easily read on the device. Amazon also offers a premium service-Prime members get free content through the Prime reading program, users can sign up for optional Kindle Unlimited subscriptions and offer further subscription options, and Amazon's purchase of Goodreads means that the largest social media network related to literature is built directly into the device. Of course, the largest and cheapest e-book library.
Amazon sells the Paperwhite at full price of $129.99, but given Amazon's frequent sales (with a minimum price of $90), you shouldn't spend too much. Note, however, that Amazon's usual concerns still apply. Adding cellular data will increase the price by $70, increase internal storage from 8GB to 32GB by $30, and remove ads from home and lock screens will cost another $20.
There are also some problems with hardware, such as lack of USB-C charging or faster 802.11n Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, this applies almost to the entire e-reader market, so it's hard to avoid these problems until manufacturers start to strengthen them.
In the end, however, nothing comes close to Paperwhite in terms of getting the most out of it.
Amazon's Kindle Oasis is definitely the best e-reader. If price is not a factor, the updated third-generation version makes it better, adding a color temperature adjustable screen. This is a small change, but it makes it possible to read in the dark and make better use of it, because color helps the screen look more like real paper.
It's definitely the best e-reader, but it will cost you.
Nothing else in the oasis has changed in 2019, for better or worse. The design is still excellent, the style is asymmetrical, and the mastery is perfect. It still has an anodized aluminum shell and a physical flip button, which is better than the special UX and plastic case of the cheap Kindles touch screen. It also has IPX8 waterproof function and supports playing Audible audiobooks through Bluetooth.
Compared with Paperwhite, Oasis has some specific improvements: a larger screen, 12 led headlights (more than 5 of Paperwhite) for more uniform lighting, and an adaptive light sensor that automatically adjusts brightness (which is not a color temperature, but is a good supplement).
But Oasis still has a huge price tag: almost twice as much as Paperwhite (or, if you can find Paperwhite, it's usually three times sales), which makes it hard to recommend Paperwhite, even with new screens. But if you want to get the best digital reading experience at any cost, nothing beats Oasis
