On Wednesday, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A325G, the most affordable 5G device to date, a day before the launch of its flagship S-Series phones at the Unpacked event in 2021. Samsung plans to bring this game-changing online technology to more people this year.

According to GSMArena, the Galaxy A325G is already available in Europe and will go on sale next month, powered by an unnamed 8-core processor running at 2.0 GHz. Samsung usually does not specify chipsets unless its phones or tablets are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. We reported in December that the phone might be equipped with MediaTek Tianyu 720 processor, but now it seems more likely.

The phone will also have a 6.5inch "gap" 720p LCD screen, which is a bit disappointing given that the 64 GB and 128GB models cost 280euros and 300euros, respectively. It does have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which should be much faster than any screen scanner.

The Galaxy A325G will be equipped with a 48 MP camera, an 8 MP ultra wide camera and two 5 MP sensors-a macro camera and a depth sensor. On the front is a 13 MP selfie sensor.

The device will be available in three memory variants-4GB, 6GB and 8GB, as well as four colors-black, white, blue and purple. The device will be powered by 5000 mAh batteries-which could be a good thing given that 5G phones consume a lot of power. However, in 15 hours of "fast" charging, you may go from zero to 100 in more than two hours.
