This article introduces you how to carry out Weave Scope multi-host monitoring, the content is very detailed, interested friends can refer to, hope to be helpful to you.

In addition to monitoring containers, Weave Scope can also monitor Docker Host.

Click the top HOSTS menu item and the map will show the current host.

Similar to the container, clicking the host icon will display the details.

Host's current resource usage and historical curve are at a glance. In addition, you can easily view the list of processes and containers running on host, and click on the container name to open the container's information page.

There is a button at the top of the host page, which opens the shell window of host directly. This remote management function is really sweet.

Multi-host monitoring

We have already experienced the rich features and friendly user interface of Weave Scope. But it also has an important function: multi-host monitoring.

A real deployment environment cannot have only one host, and it would be very efficient to monitor the entire container environment from one interface. Let's practice this function next.

Two Docker Host:

Ubuntu: 192.168.56.102

Ubuntu2: 192.168.56.103

Execute the following command on both host:

Scope launch 192.168.56.102 192.168.56.103

In this way, both host can be monitored whether you visit http://192.168.56.102:4040 or http://192.168.56.103:4040.

Click the CONTAINERS menu item and all the containers in the deployment environment will be displayed.

The host is marked below the container icon.

Weave Scope also provides robust search capabilities if you deploy too many containers (which are common).

Enter the keyword sysd and you will immediately locate the container sysdig in the map.

Weave Scope also supports logical conditional queries, such as entering cpu > 2 to immediately find containers with CPU utilization higher than 2%.

On how to carry out Weave Scope multi-host monitoring to share here, I hope that the above content can be of some help to you, can learn more knowledge. If you think the article is good, you can share it for more people to see.
