Wiring topology

Connection method:

L Telecom is directly connected to the FXO port of Quintum AF in a straight line

L AF uses RJ45 to access the network

Use effect:

L PSTN users dial a straight line number, hear a secondary dial tone, and then enter the extension number of the Lync user to ring the Lync user directly.

L Lync users can ring directly by dialing an external number

If you use 2 or more external lines, you can set functions such as resonance phones.

Note:

AF adopts P108-09-10 version

Gateway side configuration

Configure IP addresses with serial lines:

Restart the gateway after configuration (the IP address of the gateway is 192.168.1.48, and the default gateway is 192.168.1.1)

After the reboot, use Configuration Manager version 108 to connect to the gateway

Fill in the address of the Lync mediation server in Primary SIP Server, and then Primary SIP Server Port in port 5068 that the mediation server listens to by default. Because Lync does not support registration, enter-1 for Register Expiry Time

Select Advance, and then select TCP protocol

Confirm that UA is 101 in the User Agent page and LP is 5060

Then select Gateway, select Outgoing IP Routing as SIP only, and select Use Routing Table, at which point the system will pop up a warning and click OK.

Create a new number translation table

Take a name.

Click Add, and then enter * in Incoming Pattern and + * in Outgoing Pattern, which means that all numbers will have a + sign after being converted by this NT.

Then change the default Number Table-default to * to *, indicating that there is no change after this NT transformation

Select Routing Table and click add

Incoming From selects TCRG-line to indicate calls from PSTN

Outgoing To selects UA-101 to indicate that the call is to be sent to the Lync server

Incoming Match Criteria selects Called, indicating that the dialed number is used to match.

Called Number Table: selecting the newly created Number Table-addplus indicates adding a + sign to the dialed number.

Calling Number Table: selecting the newly created Number Table-addplus indicates that you want to add a + sign to the calling number

Select Routing Table and add a call from Lync to PSTN

Incoming From selects UA-101 to indicate calls from Lync

Outgoing To selects TCRG-line to indicate that the call is to be sent to PSTN

Incoming Match Criteria selects Called, indicating that the dialed number is used to match.

Called Number Table: selecting the newly created Number Table-default indicates that no changes are made to the dialed number

Calling Number Table: selecting the newly created Number Table-default indicates that no changes are made to the primary number

The two routes are shown above

Click Voice Codec-1 to confirm that the speech code is G.711 A-law

Click Voice Codec-2 to confirm that the speech code is G.711 Mu-law

Select Trunk Circuit Routing Group-line, and then select Type in IVR as 1, which means that if you enter an outside line, you can provide a secondary dial tone. If you have an IVR file, you can also choose 8. After playing the IVR file, you can provide a secondary dial tone.

When the gateway configuration is complete, click the icon shown on the figure to submit the changes.

Lync server-side settings

Add the address of the gateway

Enter the IP address and port 5060 of the gateway, and select TCP as the protocol.

Then configure the Lync server in the control panel of Lync to send the call to the gateway address entered above.

The configuration is complete here.

Gateway packet capture method:

Enter ev L3 ch sproto in the Telnet session window

Then type ev qu to start grabbing the bag, and you can press Q to exit the bag on the way.
