RIDE (Robot Framework Test Data Editor) is suitable for automated testing of web.

1. Installation of related environment

First set up the python environment and download the python.2.7.10 version from http://www.python.org.

When installing, add python to the environment variable of path. The directories are: C:\ Python27 and C:\ Python27\ Scripts (I installed python in the root directory of disk C).

Package Manager for python

Setuptools: by downloading ez_setup.py double-click, https://pypi.python.org/pypi/setuptools

Pip:cmd enters ez_setup.py and installs easy_install pip, https://pip.pypa.io/en/latest/index.html with setuptools

Download the file wxPython2.8-win32-unicode-2.8.12.1-py27.exe installation, click the next step of the installation, http://wxpython.org/download.php#stable

To install robotframework using pip, the installation command is: pip install robotframework

To install robotframework-selenium2library using pip, the installation command is: pip install robotframework-selenium2library

Use the pip command to install rtomac-robotframework-selenium2library, which is: pip install rtomac-robotframework-selenium2library

Use the pip command to install decorator-3.3.3.tar, which is: pip install decorator

Use the pip command to install robotframework-ride, which is: pip install robotframework-ride

Enter ride.py (C:\ Python27\ Scripts) under the doc command, and if the following screenshot pops up, the robotframework environment is set up.

2. Easy to use

1) load Selenium2Library

Install Selenium2Library, run cmd as an administrator, and then pip install robotframework-selenium2library will be fine

Add Selenium2Library to the Library of RIDE

2) keyword "Open Browser"

Not found IEDriver error appears
