Application of Sixin DTU and Peanut Shell configuration

In the aspect of industrial or industrial control monitoring and management, wireless remote monitoring is mainly used, while wireless data transmission equipment such as DTU or industrial router is usually used. In particular, there are some problems in the use of DTU fixed IP. Here, we use the configuration application of DTU and peanut shell to solve the problem of IP change or ip address non-public network.

Equipment

Analysis:

Why should use peanut shell software master, mainly need to bind an IP address and port in the configuration of DTU, to find the computer where the IP address is located and exchange data with it. If you have the condition of static public network IP, you can bind static public network IP address directly.

If we do not have the condition of static external network IP, (generally speaking, most of our users now use the form of ADSL dialing to access the Internet, and the IP is dynamically assigned, so our external network IP will change after the route is cut off. If the DTU is bound to a dynamic public network IP, then after the router is powered off and the external network IP changes, the IP bound to the DTU will not be set, and the DTU will not be able to find the original computer. To solve this problem, we can use dynamic domain name resolution to bind domain names in DTU. The domain name is fixed, and the domain name is bound with IP. Even if the public network IP changes, this domain name can always find your machine through dynamic domain name resolution. Software such as peanut shell needs to be used here.

Steps

1. Peanut shell configuration

(1) sign up for a peanut shell account (with a secondary or tertiary domain name)

(2) download a peanut shell client

(3) then log in to the peanut shell client to configure the peanut shell

(4) Intranet mapping configuration. This function is provided in the peanut shell (with traffic restrictions), or you can configure it with your own router.

Note: now there is a charge for many functions of the new peanut shell. If you have money, it is recommended to buy an enterprise version. Of course, the personal version is also fine.

2.DTU configuration

(1) Open Sixin DTU configuration software IP Modem Configue

As shown in the following figure:

1 change the industrial state to the "configuration state"

two。 Select the COM port where the PC works, the baud rate is 115200, and there is no check.

(2) DTU and computer are connected through serial port and the equipment is powered on.

Configure central server parameters: fill in the correct address and port at "primary central address + port" and "backup central address + port" respectively.

Please note: if only one data center is built, then the address and port of the master / slave center must be set to the same.

(3) enter the IP address + port of the public network

3. If the machine is in the local area network and uses the intranet IP, you need to map a port to your machine by setting up a router. In this way, when the DTU finds the IP address of the external network, the router transmits the data to the corresponding machine of the internal network through port mapping. In this way, DTU can exchange data with computers in the intranet.

The method of port mapping is as follows:

Click the forwarding rule, select the virtual server, select add New entry, and the following window appears:

Enter the port number to be mapped, followed by the destination private network IP address to be mapped. Click to save the finished settings. For example, the service port is: 10000, and the IP address is 192.168.1.7. Port 10000 of the router corresponds to port 10000 of the machine whose intranet IP address is 192.168.1.7.

For example, we use the dynamic IP address of the public network, the machine of the private network, the bound domain name is mengchy.vicp.net, and the port mapped to this machine by route is 10000. Then fill in: mengchy.vicp.net at the "main center address + port" of DTU, enter 10000 for the port, and save after setting up. As shown in the figure:

To this point, DTU implements fixed address communication with server data. Configuration is complete.
