Converged architecture and super-converged architecture are not the same thing at all, the former puts more emphasis on pre-configuration and verification of software and hardware, and the overall delivery, computing or storage are independent of each other, while super-converged architecture puts more emphasis on the integration of virtual computing platform and storage, forming a storage pool of the hard disks in each server to provide IT infrastructure such as computing, network, security and storage needed by the data center in a virtualized form.
