Ab

The ab instruction is a performance testing tool for apache, which can test the performance of the current apache server and show how many http requests can be processed per second.

The scope of application of this command: RedHat, RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora.

Option

Description

-A name: pass

Provide a user name and password to the server

-b

Buffer size of the tcp connection

-c

Number of concurrent requests. Default is 1.

-C cookie-name = value

Add cookie

-e csv-file

Specify the resulting csv file

-g

Write the test results to the specified gnuplot file

-h

Display help information

-H

Attach additional header information to the request

-I

Execute HEAD requests in http instead of GET

-k

Start the keepalive function

-n

Specify the number of requests in the test session

-p

Specify the file that contains post data

-Q

If the number of requests is greater than 150, the Coab instruction shows progress after processing 10% or 100 requests.

-r

Do not exit when there is a socket receiving error

-t

Specify the maximum description of the test

-T

Specify Content-type information

-v

Set the level at which information is displayed

-V

Display version information

-x

A string that sets the attributes of the table tag

-X

Set up a proxy server

-y

Set the tr label

-z

Set the td label

Test performance
