There are too many backup applications on the market, which one is the best? In fact, this is a matter of opinion. The following are some of the better backup applications recommended by the author, in no particular order.

1. Symantec's Backup Exec and NBU

Backup Exec is suitable for Windows, Linux, Mac and various virtualization platforms, integrating deduplication and archiving technologies, and Symantec's Backup Exec is ideal for Windows server-centric homologous environments. Is a low-end product, it is mainly aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises whose tape and disk backup strategies are quite common. Different for the operating system. BE supports less and, at best, at the file level, can't help with systems and databases

Use objects. If there are more Windows users, it is more appropriate to use BE, especially the besr option, which is quite easy to use for the recovery system.

Master is the main server. BE can only be installed on Windows, while NBU software can be installed on Windows,Linux or Unix.

EMC Networker is a top backup application. However, EMC has a growing share of the fast-growing backup application market. According to IDC, backup products are the fastest growing area in the backup field.
