Glory unveiled the V30 and V30 Pro, the latest model in its impressive range of mid-and high-end phones. The Honor V series is usually launched globally as the View series and offers competitive specifications based on parent company Huawei's latest technology: for example, this year's View 20 debuts with a 48 million-pixel camera Kirin 980and a punched selfie camera.

The V30 Pro features a 6.57in 1080p screen and two punched cuts, reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. Unlike this phone, however, the Honor includes a 8 million-pixel wide-angle selfie camera and a traditional 32 million-pixel device. Honor described the surface treatment of the device as "the world's first auroral nano-texture", although it looked like frosted glass to us until we saw it with our own eyes.

Other specifications include a 4100 Ma battery that can be rechargeable to 40 watts. Honor claims to reach 70% intensity in 30 minutes. Although this speed is not as fast as Oppo's comparable leading competitive solutions, it will certainly be able to compete with the broader market. Glory also offers 27W wireless charging, which can increase your charging rate to 52% in half an hour.

The V30 Pro uses the Huawei Kirin 9905G processor and integrates next-generation connectivity, while the conventional View 30 uses the standard Kirin 990 and a separate Barong 5000 5G modem. Another difference between the two is that the Pro has a 12 million-pixel ultra-wide lens with a higher resolution, while the V30 has a 8 million-pixel sensor, which may be different, because Honor makes the same "professional video" for ultra-wide lenses, which requires Huawei's Mate 30 Pro. In addition, the two phones share the same 40 million-pixel main camera, 8 million-pixel telephoto lens and dual selfie lens.

For models with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage space, the V30 Pro costs 3899 yuan ($550) and the 8GB/256GB version costs 4199 yuan ($600). The 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB of the non-professional version of the V30 cost 3299 yuan ($370) and 3699 yuan ($525), respectively. View 30 has not been posted anywhere else, but if you live in the West, you may need to wait for information about when or whether a phone with Google services will be available.
