This article introduces the process of Android phones compatible with 160WiFi under XP system. The content is very detailed. Interested friends can use it for reference. I hope it will be helpful to you.
160WiFi has been well received by the majority of users since its release. At present, computers that can perfectly support WIN7/WIN8/WIN8.1 systems, but the WiFi emitted by XP systems is peer-to-peer mode, so for WiFi sharing under XP systems, only one XP system computer is supported to connect two terminal devices, and it must be an iPhone series. As a result, many XP users regret that they cannot use 160WiFi to create wifi hotspots.
Why it can't be used, and how to use it.
Because the winXP notebook, the virtual wifi hotspot is in the form of adhoc, and the native Android does not support adhoc signals, so you need to patch the Android system and write the downloaded adhoc patch into the Android file. After success, you can connect the Android device directly to the virtual hotspot to share the Internet.
There are three steps, the first thing we need to do is to choose a safe and reliable software to brush the phone, first Root the phone permissions, and then patch it. Here the editor recommends the Qitang brushing software, download and install one-click brushing machine and then follow the prompts step by step to complete the brushing machine. Be sure to back up the original wpa_supplicant file of your phone before brushing. If you fail to install the patch, you can restore the phone settings.
Secondly, everyone should go to the mobile forum, search for the corresponding model adhoc patch package to download to the phone, and store it in a folder on the SD card. Then find a mobile assistant software and download a RE file manager.
The specific steps for setting read and write permissions for the adhoc patch using the File Manager are as follows.
1, open R.E. On your phone. Manager (provided that ROOT permissions have been obtained)
2. By default, "Mount as read-only", click "Mount as read-write", and find the wpa_supplicant file under the system/bin folder in "Mobile memory".
3. View the permissions of the wpa_supplicant file on the original phone and write it down
4. Move the downloaded adhoc patch pack, that is, the new wpa_supplicant file, to the system/bin folder and replace the original file (it may indicate that the system is out of space, delete the original file before pasting the new file, and remember to back up before deletion).
5. Change the permissions of the new file to the same as the original file, then restart the phone and try to connect. If you start successfully, you can connect and use it normally.
Note: this method is complex, tedious and prone to failure. It is not recommended for users to use it. Users are advised to upgrade their computers to the WIN7 system.
Solutions to common problems in using 160WiFi.
1. 160wifi is enabled successfully, and the mobile phone can be found, but it cannot be connected. Android phones can only use wireless AP WPA2 mode (win7), while IOS phones can use both WPA2 mode and WEP mode. First of all, check whether the virtual network card (hotspot name) in the lower right corner of the computer has an internet connection, if not, open the computer's network and sharing center-change the adapter, right-click the properties of the network card to share it again (remove the sharing check and then check the sharing check). If the 160wifi hotspot name is in plain English lowercase letters, the password is started with a pure number.
2. Can't you find WiFi hotspots on your phone? Restart the phone WLAN or restart 160WiFi first. If the phone still can't be found, check to see if the computer that turns on WiFi can find other hot spots, such as CMCC. If you can't find it, it is recommended to disable the wireless network card in "Network connection" before enabling it.
3. If your phone is frequently disconnected, try restarting 160WiFi or restarting your computer. If it doesn't change, try using driver Life, update your computer's wireless network card driver, turn off your computer's ARP firewall, or change your computer or phone's hibernation settings.
