I. backup system selection

II. Backuppc installation and configuration

Centos6.3 is installed using yum

Install the EPEL source, http://linux.cn/article-2324-1.html

Wget http://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/i386/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm

Wget http://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/5/i386/epel-release-5-4.noarch.rpm

Execute yum after installation error: Error: Cannot retrieve metalink for repository: epel. Please verify its path and try again

Yum install BackupPC installed successfully

Confirm that httpd service access is normal

The configuration file is / etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

The process file is / usr/sbin/httpd

Visit http://192.168.xxx.xxx/BackupPC/, prompt 403

Modify / etc/httpd/conf.d/BackupPC.conf,allow from all

The page can be opened, prompting for a user name and password, and an error after entering.

Error: Unable to connect to BackupPC server

This CGI script (/ backuppc) is unable to connect to the BackupPC server on localhost port-1.

The error was: unix connect: Connection refused.

Perhaps the BackupPC server is not running or there is a configuration error. Please report this to your Sys Admin.

The reason is that the backuppc service did not start, service backuppc start

III. BackupPC configuration backup task

After entering, there is a lack of items in the left menu, so it is impossible to add the host.

Edit the config.pl file, find the following configuration, add users, restart backuppc

$Conf {CgiAdminUserGroup} = 'backuppc'

$Conf {CgiAdminUsers} = 'backuppc'

There was a windfall.

$Conf {Language} = 'zh_CN'

/ var/lib/BackupPC/pc
